Important Update: ARender Release Notes Are Moving — Here’s What You Need to Know

Written by Admin | Jul 3, 2025 8:55:19 AM

For years, the ARender community has relied on our Technical Blog to track each new feature, fix, and performance boost. Your feedback has helped shape ARender into the fast, flexible viewer it is today. Thank you.

Starting end-June 2025, we’re streamlining where release information lives, so you can find it faster—and alongside the rest of our product documentation.

What’s changing?

Until now From end-June 2025 onward
Release notes posted only on the Technical Blog (https://hub.arender.io/technical-blog/tag/release-note) Release notes hosted in the official ARender documentation (https://docs.arender.io/releases/)

The transition: one overlap release

  • Release 2023.11.0 (scheduled for publication at the end of June 2025) will be published in both locations.

    • This overlap gives teams time to update bookmarks and automated workflows.

  • All later releases will appear only inside the new “Releases” section of our documentation.

Why the move?

  1. Single source of truth
The docs site already houses installation guides, API references, and configuration tips. Putting release notes there means everything you need for an upgrade is just one search away.

  2. Better navigation & search
The documentation platform supports advanced search, version filtering, and cross-linking to related concepts (e.g., new config keys mentioned in a release note jump straight to their reference page).

  3. Automated versioning
As we ship more frequently, automatic versioning ensures older release notes remain accessible without cluttering the blog feed.

What should you do today?

  • Update your bookmarks or RSS readers to https://docs.arender.io/releases/.

  • If you script or scrape the blog for the latest version tag, point those tools to the docs endpoint before your next planned upgrade cycle.

  • Share this announcement inside your team’s #dev-ops or #release-planning channel so nobody is caught off-guard.

Thank you for growing with us

Consolidating release information is a small change with a big impact: less hunting around, faster upgrades, and richer context at your fingertips. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to shipping even more quality updates—now documented in one convenient place.

Happy viewing,
The ARender Team
