The ARender 2023.7.0 release brings major improvements in document comparison accuracy, PDF Portfolio support, watermark management, and Hazelcast optimizations.
This version also resolves multiple critical issues affecting text extraction, hyperlink navigation, and caching mechanisms.
Several improvements have been made to ensure better configurability and reliability in production environments.
This version requires the following software versions as prerequisites :
DocLink hyperlinks now open at the correct vertical position instead of defaulting to the top of the document (AR-17351).
Specific Watermarks can now be configured to appear on printed and downloaded documents (AR-17075).
Fixed a bug where document comparison falsely highlighted non-existent differences, particularly in financial reports (AR-17375).
Fixed an issue where extracted text was missing characters or had inconsistent spacing when using regex-based search (AR-17211).
New documentation for integrating ARender with ReactJS, Angular, Svelte, Vue.js, and native JS. Covers embedding ARender, document loading, searching, and highlight annotations (AR-13432, AR-17198). More details are in the documentation link below:
Eliminates multiple Hazelcast instances to enhance stability and performance (AR-17398, AR-17423).
Users can now configure different watermarks for document printing and downloading (AR-17075). This feature is accessible via the IBM Content Navigator plugin. See the related documentation in the link below:
Support of Portfolio and PDF With Attachments are now disabled by default (AR-17436).
