If you plan on auto-upgrading your OpenJDK to version 1.8.0_242, please be aware of the following commit : https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/commit/4b7bbaf5b001c17e3bcd8d8ec7e4cb2d66e795e5

It introduced a regression on the loading of Native Libraries into the JDK.

ARender uses native library loading to process PDFs. Thus, using this particular version, ARender would fail to load.

Version 4.0.9 and up of ARender will support this new change from the OpenJDK and you’ll be able to safely upgrade your OpenJDK to this revision.
