ARender 3.1.6 release notes

The ARender team is proud to present the release notes for version 3.1.6, a subset of fixes for ARender in Alfresco.

This list of new features and corrected bugs is to describe the vast majority of the novelties that have a direct impact on the use of ARender. A detailed list containing all bugfixes and features is available at: Changelog

New features

‣ New behavior

ARender can now open Folders in Alfresco in its viewer. All sub-documents contained in this folder will be opened. Please note that this is not recursive and therefor you can safely use it with your top level folders.

‣ New behavior ‣ Bug fix

We redesigned the annotation storage in Alfresco. The older manner would end limiting the scalability of the approach. We now rely on a tree folder structure and at the leaf of the tree folder structure will be stored the annotation (one folder per Alfresco document opened in ARender, and an annotation storage file per version of the document)

‣ New behavior ‣ Bug fix

Users in Alfresco environements can now stamp their documents, and custom integrations allow watermarking of user documents using custom metadatas fetched from Alfresco.
